Beautiful music that we helped (a little bit) to get out into the world… on time.
Like a lot of music projects these days, videos and the download are what leads the effort, with the physical release coming out a bit later for promotion and for sale at shows. Typsy Panthre (Allison LaBonne and John Crozier) have just released their first album together, and they asked us to get some discs made.
The band took the step of packaging the CD release in recycled jewel cases; this turned out to be an advantage because there was a trimming problem with the first round of the inserts. We were able to get replacements couriered to them at home on Friday, in time for their promo mailout the following day. (This is release #1 from a cooperative local label called Korda Records.)
Designer Brian Tighe said, “Drew has been a great help every step of the way with two of my CD artwork projects, from fielding questions about design software to dealing with printing companies, making sure they got the job done right.”
